One-Day Workshop in Pottery & Handbuilding

Would you like to spend a delightful day working with clay or find out if a full course in throwing or handbuilding is for you? Our clay tasting workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore both techniques in one afternoon

What to expect?
During this workshop, the group will be divided into two, allowing you to try both throwing on the wheel and handbuilding:

Throwing on the Wheel:
Discover the basics of wheel throwing! You’ll learn how to center the clay and pull it up to create forms. Mastering throwing takes time, but this day will give you a taste of the process and let you experience the initial steps.

Handbuilding:
Under professional guidance, you’ll create your own form, such as a cup, mug, or bowl, using handbuilding techniques. This is a fun and creative way to shape and personalize your clay piece.

Practical Information:

  • Date: Various dates available
  • Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Price: €89,50 per person (includes materials, one piece glazed and fired, coffee, and tea)

Optional Glazing and Firing:
Een extra piece can be glazed and fired for an additional fee of €5 per item. After approximately three weeks, your work will be ready for pickup. You can choose to arrange firing an extra piece during the workshop or afterward.
