Clay invites you to experiment with form and colour. In this class, you will explore your creativity and develop your own style. Do you prefer working intuitively or following a set plan? There’s plenty of space to brainstorm, share ideas, and learn.

You will learn to use various techniques such as sculpting, building with slabs, and pressing textures into clay. We will explore colour through oxides, pigments, engobes, and glazes. This may result in a variety of works, such as abstract creations, sculptures, animals, vases, and mugs. You will work at your own level and be guided by a professional ceramicist.

Beginners can get acquainted with different techniques and the possibilities of clay through focused assignments. This course is also a great starting point or complement to throwing, as it teaches you to think about the boundaries of clay as a material. More experienced ceramicists can further develop their own style and delve deeper into the possibilities of clay and decoration.
